Project: Centre Applications
Description: Developed a web based application for corporate credit card account management using ASP.NET, C#, XML and SQL Server 2000. Built an XML web service interface to a legacy mainframe application.

Investment Advisory Network, Englewood, Colorado

Project: Portfolio Manager
Description: Software architect, designer, and lead developer of investment web site for managing brokerage accounts, on-line trading, and reporting. Implemented enterprise-caliber, scalable, load-balanced, n-tier design.
Technology: Visual Basic .NET, Visual Basic 6, Active Server Pages, XML/XSL, Crystal Reports, SQL Server 2000 and Microsoft DNA/.NET architecture.

Description: Developed on on-line web application used for managing marketing trade allowances using.

Project: Backstage Web Site
Description: Developed an product information extranet web site used by distributors and resellers.

Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Project: Correspondence Tracking System
Description: Fixed Y2K problems and upgraded technologies for a base-wide database application.
Technology: Microsoft SQL Server, Sybase SQL Server, and PowerBuilder.

Compassion International, Colorado Springs, Colorado

Project: Data Warehouse Reporting System
Description: Developed reports and web pages on a 150 gigabyte data warehouse for the 10 worldwide offices of a $120 million charity. Designed configuration management processes and wrote source code control tools and utilities for StarTeam.
Technology: ASP.NET, Visual Basic .NET, Access, VBA, StarTeam, and Microsoft SQL Server.

Project: Web Reporting Tool and Marketing System
Description: Developed a web-based application to generate marketing reports and wrote ActiveX components for a marketing system.
Technology: Microsoft SQL Server, Visual Basic, Active Server Pages, HTML, Crystal Reports and Adobe Acrobat.

Project: Quality Reject Report Database
Description: Developed an intranet web site used to maintain a Quality Reject Report database in a manufacturing environment.

Grease Monkey, Inc., Riverside, California

Project: Data Conversion
Description: Deciphered and converted data from an unknown-format database. The purpose of the data conversion was to transfer data from an outdated point-of-sale (POS) system to a newer system being installed.

Project: Alliance Underwriters System
Description: Developed an enterprise-wide financial application used by the insurance industry to manage quoting, policy issue, premium, claims, and commissions.
Technology: Visual Basic, Microsoft SQL Server, Windows NT Server, n-tier architecture.

Project: Automated Pager System
Description: Developed wireless paging software to automatically retrieve local weather, traffic, and news information from sources such as the NOAA Weather Wire. The information was then filtered, formatted, and send it to alphanumeric pager customers.

Forest Hills United Methodist Church, Brentwood, Tennessee

Project: Web Site.
Description: Donated services to develop an informational web site and train church staff to maintain it. The web site, now maintained exclusively by church staff, may be viewed at www.foresthillsumc.org.

Project: Extranet Web Site
Description: Built a private extranet web site for an actuarial firm to replace an antiquated electronic bulletin board system. The web site is used by clients to securely upload monthly employee data files using only an internet browser.
Technology: HTML, Microsoft FrontPage, Active Server Pages, CGI Scripting, Visual Basic, ActiveX Data Objects (ADO).

Gordian Health Solutions, Inc., Nashville, Tennessee

Project: Web Site
Description: Built an informational web site and online health survey system hosted on a Lotus Domino web server. The web site may be viewed at www.gordian-health.com.
Technology: Lotus Domino Web Server, HTML, Microsoft FrontPage, CGI Scripting, Visual Basic.

Vanderbilt University Medical Center, Nashville, Tennessee

Project: Document Imaging System
Description: Developed an integrated storage and retrieval system for word processor documents and scanned images. Features include automatic OCR, indexing and keyword recognition; custom form definition; workgroup extensions; and multi-tiered security. Conducted training sessions for users.
Technology: Visual Basic, Access, Windows 95, Windows NT, Novell NetWare, OLE, Wang Imaging, TWAIN, Caere OCR, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes and cc:Mail (VIM), SMTP/POP3 Mail.

Project: Resident Experience Tracking System
Description: Provided development and training services in conjunction with GoughSoft Consulting Services. This system tracks, measures, and reports categorized experience for medical school residents.
Technology: Visual Basic, Access.

State of Tennessee, Nashville, Tennessee

Project: Child Support Clerk System
Description: Developed a child support application used by County Clerks in 25 Tennessee counties to track child support cases, payments and disbursements. The system includes an interface via Wide Area Network (WAN) to the statewide Tennessee Child Support Enforcement System (TCSES) mainframe located in Nashville, Tennessee.
Technology: FoxPro.

Project: Automated Data Conversion System
Description: Developed an application to converted 2.5 million flat-file database records into a relational database for Davidson County Circuit Court and Knox County 4th Circuit Court in preparation for a child support system upgrade. This system has been used by other counties throughout the state of Tennessee to ease the migration of legacy data to newer client/server child support systems.
Technology: FoxPro, various legacy DBMS's.

Project: Integrated Voice Response System
Description: Developed a multi-line telephony application providing dial-up touch-tone access to child support payment and case information.
Technology: FoxPro, RER Voice Response Unit, Dialogic voice cards.

Academic Pharmaceuticals, Inc., Lake Bluff, Illinois

Project: Therapeutic Window
Description: Developed infectious disease database and diagnostic tool for doctors. Therapeutic Window determines a diagnosis based on symptoms and test results and prints prescriptions, chart notes, and patient information forms.
Technology: Visual Basic, Access, "Expert systems" methodologies.

Second Harvest Food Bank, Nashville, Tennessee

Project: Food Box Tracking System
Description: Developed a distributed client/server database used to track and report charitable food box distributions by the food bank. A distributed DBMS resides at 15 sites throughout Nashville and sites synchronize database changes daily via a dial-up file-based replication system.

Description: Provided development services for hospital housekeeping management and tracking software.

Description: Provided development and support services for a student information database system. This system interfaced with college's central database to perform student accounting and record-keeping tasks.

Project: Next Generation Weather Radar (NEXRAD)
Description: Wrote C software modules used in the development of Next Generation Weather Radar (NEXRAD).
