Document Imaging System

Description
DIS is an integrated document storage and retrieval system for Windows 95 and Windows NT. Scanned images and word processor documents may by stored centrally and recalled from anyplace in your organization using keywords or full-text searches. DIS was developed in conjunction with GoughSoft Consulting Services.
Features
Automatic Optical Character Recognition (OCR), indexing and keyword recognition; custom form definitions; workgroup extensions; multi-tiered security; and TWAIN scanner support. OCR is performed using Ceare Corporation's 32-bit OCR engine, the fasted, highest-quality software OCR engine available.
